What is counselling?

Counselling is time for you, and provides a safe and confidential space for reflection and to explore whatever is going on for you. It offers time to look at thoughts and feelings which will be held and contained in a sensitive and non judgemental way .

How I work

An Integrative approach

Essentially, I work in a humanistic/holistic person-centred way. This means that I will engage with you and that together at your pace we can explore whatever you choose to bring in a way that considers mind , body and spirit. Through my knowledge and experience I may also draw from other approaches so that I offer an integrative approach, using what the work individually calls for at any given time.

The 'all important relationship'

Underpinning the way I work is the importance of the therapeutic relationship; the relationship between counsellor and client. It is key to the process of change.

Who I work with

I am experienced in working with both men and women of all ages from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
